WELCOME TO NaCHAG

The National Cosmeticians and Hairdressers Association of Ghana (NaCHAG) is a Trade Association registered with the Registrar Generals Department under the Companies Act 1963(ACT 179) in 2019 with registration number CG0900622019. The association brings together cosmeticians and hairdressers under one umbrella to promote their common interest in their trade industry.

Membership of the Association is open to all Cosmeticians and Hairdressers in Ghana trained either through training institutions or salons by competent Master Crafts Persons (MCPs). The Association currently has members in Central, Ashanti, Western, Greater Accra and the Eastern Regions. It has put in place membership drive strategies to have a nationwide coverage in the few years to come.

‘’To provide a common platform to advocate for skills development and the welfare of Cosmeticians and Hairdressers in Ghana’’ This will be achieved by building strong partnerships and strategic alliances with relevant stakeholders in the industry.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  1. To bring into one body or group any interested persons in the cosmetology industry
  2. To protect and preserve the fundamental rights and freedom of members
  3. To bring before members any available opportunity within the framework of the profession
  4. To update members about latest products or styles in the industry through workshops and seminars
  5. To align with local and international hair, beauty and cosmetology culture
  6. To serve as an intermediary between the government and the members in the payment of tax and other fees
